SACRAMENTO -- Pavia went from party playboy to not even drafted. On the flip side Mendoza (the winner) was a perfect saint and was drafted first. The Heisman trophy symbolizes the duality of man. It takes a certain player to come close, one with physicality and on-field prowess. That being said it takes a completely different kind of player to win.
Heisman winners often find themselves in hi-jinks. Reggie Bush, winner in 2005, was found accepting gifts and was at risk of losing the trophy all together.
