The Giants are Stacked for the 2026 Draft. How Will They Mess It Up?

AUSTIN -- The Giants have somehow set themselves up very well for the 2026 draft, possibly ending their tragic multi-year drought. Their two top-10 selections, and the No 5 and No 10 prepare them well to really build a team and have Superbowl chances in 2028. So, what can they do well to waste Jaxson Dart? Lets take a look.

Round 1, Pick 5: Anthony Hill Jr. University of Texas

Why would the Giants pick a Line Backer on the first slot? Well the answer to that is simple: Hill played with Arch Manning. They know that the Manning Magic has rubbed off on Hill, no doubt about it. It makes complete sense. It is also rumored that Hill is good friends with Arch off the field, so maybe it will entice him.

Round 1, Pick 10: Malik Muhammad, University of Texas

Muhammad is a Cornerback out of UT, 72 overall. The Giants could use his speed and agility, and he could play well with Jaxon's split second decision making. More importantly? He kept the field clean for Arch Manning. He would be a great pick to warm up in the organization in preparation for Arch's draft.

Round 2, Pick 37: Michael Taaffe, University of Texas

Taaffe was a walk-on and has played astonishingly well as a Nickle for UT. Further, he's an Austin native, those boys are born different. Further, Deonte Banks could be switching positions so it only makes sense to fill another defensive slot. The cherry on top? He played with Arch Manning.

Round 4, Pick 105: Jack Endries, University of Texas

Now Endries is a bit of a sleeper, and the Giants already have the TE position on lock, but we think that the Giants could really use Endries' utility and dynamism on the field. We think he has proven himself after UT picked him up from the transfer portal, and his subsequent starting in all if the games in the season really proved he can grow into a team fast. That being said, he played with Arch Manning so it might just be a no brainer.

Conclusion

The Giants have really set themselves up to build an all star team of young up and coming players. We think we found the perfect combo to really mess up their chances to win for another 5+ years.
