SACREMENTO -- Darryn Peterson is quickly falling from the No. 1 draft slot given his recent hamstring injury status. We're not going to say that his family's concern for his well being, but we're saying that they're holding him back enough to where we could be a prospect for the Sacramento Kings. Bad thing for Peterson, great thing for Sacramento.
The play is obvious for the Kings. Trade Zach LaVine for anything, just open the spot. Bring Nique Clifford as a starter. Darryn Peterson takes Nique's spot. Heres the cherry on the top of this sloppy pie: trade Darryn next year. Its a self-fulfilling prophecy. Its both King's basketball and completely unhinged genious. Its a rare move, last that comes to mind is Markelle Fultz in 2019. But in this case, it is a door opener. The injury already exists for Peterson to setup the same excuse that Fultz had. Give the man time to recover, learn the league in exchange for being the scapegoat. The sacrificial lamb. The next part of this play is vague but that is the benefit. Whatever opportunity comes up can be taken.
Here is the sequence of events: fans become elated, fans realize they have been duped, fans complain about Kings Basketball. But it doesn't matter, they're all bind. Doug Christie is playing chess, the average King's fan sucks on checkers at the DOCO before the game. To open doors sometimes you must slam your dick while closing the window. Sure it hurts temporarily but in the long term you get dick surgery and it becomes longer and thicker than ever.
