Ravens Retire Mascot Poe, New Mascot is Stavros Halkias

BALTIMORE -- The Raven's mascot, Poe, has been rather lackluster recently. An antiquated reference to a long dead creepy author, the Ravens (at the request of Lamar Jackson) have wanted to inject new blood into the organization for years. Luckily, a certain comedian and legendary podcaster has risen through the ranks at the appropriate time.

The star of the "Let's Start a Cult" (2024) and Bugonia (2025) has decided to change the trigectory of his career. Instead of chasing an EGOT he is breaking into new ground: as the new Ravens mascot. Halkias hard-launched Ronnie years ago, a steriotypically lower-class Baltimore denizen. Loud, brash, and crash while at the same time being compelling to watch. The Ravens then soft-lauched this caracter through TikToks and Instagram reels.

Upon the wave of love from the locals, the Ravens decided to pull the trigger and hit Poe with the bird-shot. Ronie's time to shine.

Of course, Halkias is busy touring the country on his standup circuit. So he will not personally be making appearances at most of the games. Instead they're constructing a Stavros-suit but not like in an Ed Gein way, sadly. It will be of mascot material which we assume is mostly microplastics and Chinese cotton.

The Balitomre #Ravens retire mascot Poe, their new mascot is Stavros Halkias.
