The NFL Initiated a Coach Shuffle To Distract From Referee Corruption

SACRAMENTO -- The list of coaches that the NFL has fired or is considering to force out is dramatic and long. Has the NFL become some kind of Days of Our Lives or Game of Thrones style drama? We dig into the facts. Let's list which coaches have been removed:

  1. Pete Carroll
  2. Mike McDaniel
  3. John Harbaugh
  4. Kevin Stefanski
  5. Jonathan Gannon
  6. Raheem Morris

The only way to describe this is a blood bath. Unfortunately it is all a grand ruse. These men are but tribute to the grander scheme of the scandal that is rocking the NFL. This scandal is RefGate.

It is well known that sports gambling has penetrated all aspects of the NFL for quite some time. Online sports book ads are in all levels of the sport as well as broadcasting. These are money printing machines, with nearly pure profit. However, are their results random? Or, is there influence?

It is no secret that the referees have been making strangely perfect calls and extremely precise moments that would benefit a handful of people with exotic bets. Can an entire game be preplanned? No, that is fantasy. But can a game be subtly influenced on someone who is say arbitraging parlays across multiple risky bets? Quite possibly yes, but unlikely.

What is more likely is that the referees have a direct line to the sports books who are optimizing their losses. Say the game between the Steelers and Lions, where the ref's call practically ruined the conference. Was this a calculated call due to an overwhelming amount of potential losses? We lean towards yes. Indeed. This was not an isolated incident.

What, in response to this, does the NFL do? They decide to pull the ol' switch-a-roo. The kill the cast, and jump the shark. Coaches go down left and right. Is it arguable that there wasn't a single elite NFL team this season, a season that was plagued by injuries? A fair argument.
